I love this photo because it feels like we’re just hanging out in SoCal!!! I also love the glow of the sun fading into the hills behind us.

But what I love MOST about this photo is that the coolest, sweetest, kindest senior guy is featured in it!

Ethan is a Madeira high school senior who plays soccer, serves the community through the National Honor Society, participates in Young Life, studies hard to excel in academics, and is a good friend to all.

On his Insta page he shares the verse Colossians 3:23 that reads, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” I can see Ethan is a young man who lives by these words. He does everything in excellence as if working for Jesus, not the world. It’s super fun to see all he’s doing now and I can only imagine the amazing things he’s going  to do in the future!

And, crazy side note, but I went to college with Ethan’s parents! Never in a million years did I think I’d be taking their senior’s photos one day! So grateful for this opportunity. We had the most fun together!
