While my usual photography style is bright, fun colors that showcase the whimsy of childhood, this session just screamed to me in black and white. Of course I still created a whole gallery featuring my love of color for this wonderful family—they really are oh so cute in coordinating navy! But I could not resist also creating a collection of stunning black and white photographs as well. There’s just something full of warmth, joy, and substance in these multi-toned prints. I really love the playful feel of being in the backyard on a Saturday morning with the ones you love the most. I can totally picture these prints as a gallery on the walls of their lovely home. I can’t wait to meet up with them to see what they choose and which way they will go, color or black and white! Oh, and happy birthday boys. Can’t wait to hear all about the special celebrations.
